"Again." Another hit to the same spot. That one stung a bit. Darkmore approached my body while Daemon silently shuffled away. He reached up and grabbed my hair, giving it a swift tug back to see my face. "Have you learned your lesson?" Lord Darkmore asked, his face inches from mine. Up close, I could truly see the aging of his body, the bags under his eyes were darker than earlier. His face seemed even paler, as if it was fading into a ghost. Before I could stop myself, a sinister smile crept upon my lips as I glanced up at him. I've been receiving beatings a good amount of my years, this one may have been more severe but no lesson was learned today, he and I both knew that. Darkmore shook his head in pity as he let go of my hair and my head slumped lifelessly back down. "It can't be helped." He announced, backing away from my body slowly. The smile never left my lips as I stared at the ground. I saw his footsteps trail away from me, but the stopped short just before reaching the entrance gates. He turned to Daemon who stood against the farthest wall, staring lifelessly ahead. "Kill her."
