Fariya Khan and her family were forced to leave their lavish lifestyle and shift to a pre-Indo-Pak building in the old city area of Karachi due to the constant losses in her father's business.

They noticed that the neighbourhood wasn't very friendly.

"Why are they here? What if they awaken THEM?"

"What if IT kills them?"

"Are they stupid or they don't know? THEY won't be happy?"

"I don't want police to barge in my house again just because these idiots got themselves hurt or worse."

Hushed conversations, hostile comments and sometimes, worried looks became a ritual for Fariya's family, but her father, Yameen, neglected it all by saying that it is just a myth.

But, what will he do when her youngest daughter screams at 3 a.m. because someone was choking her.

And then,

Knock! Knock!

---------------------------

What will Fariya and her family do as the neglected myth is turning into a horrible reality? They have nowhere else to go!

Who are IT and THEY?

Little did they know that THEY were coming for them.

According to folklore, obscure forces secretly live among us, shaping the natural world and influencing human affairs. Some call them spirits, others refer to them as guardians, and some even worship them as gods. But to the old and wise, those who understand what lies beyond this world, they are simply called "Anito." If you were to tell this tale to Makisig "Maki" Kagiwa, a 15-year-old high school student, he would dismiss it as nothing more than a silly superstition. Living in a bustling modern city, Maki views old beliefs as outdated stories with no place in reality. But his skepticism will be put to the test when he encounters the paranormal firsthand. What will he do when he realizes that the creatures and monsters from long-forgotten legends truly exist in the modern world? Will he become a believer before it's too late? Or will his doubts cost him dearly when he and his older brother find themselves hunted by otherworldly beings---creatures whose motives remain a deadly mystery? *** Mayari's right eye ignited with a burning scarlet glow, cutting through the night like an ember born of hell. The playfulness vanished, replaced by a predator's hunger. She advanced in a slow, deliberate stride. Every instinct in me screamed to run, but my legs betrayed me, buckling until I crashed hard onto the ground. When she drew close, she leaned down, her clawed finger hooking beneath my chin to lift my face toward hers. Trapped beneath her stare, I felt both powerless and spellbound. That crimson eye pulled me in, dazzling and terrifying, as though its very light sought to strip away the layers of my soul. "What... what are you?" I stammered. Her smile deepened, sharp and amused. "Some call us heroes. Others, demons in human form. To some we bring salvation. To others, we are death incarnate. But in the end, what we are is for you to decide. The real question is... can you trust a monster with your life?" *** Note: This story is written in English.

My Soul To Take

32 parts Complete

To escape the dangers of wartime London, Millie has been sent away to Wickford Hall, but what lurks there is far more sinister than anything war might bring. --- THERE'S SOMETHING WICKED STALKING WICKFORD HALL... As war rages on, Mildred Cunningham is sent from the battered streets of London to the remote Wickford Hall, an old manor house turned school far in the country. She may be safe from the bombs of The Blitz, but Mildred--or Millie as she prefers--is miserable. She misses her old life, her friends, her family. She would rather risk German invasion than suffer the presence of the unfriendly nuns that run Wickford or the other strangely hostile students. But when new girl Petra arrives and befriends her, Millie thinks that Wickford might be survivable... As long as she has someone by her side. Only it soon becomes clear that Wickford is not the safe haven they expected. Girls begin to die, and Millie soon realizes that something sinister stalks the halls of Wickford. Isolated and afraid, Millie must discover the secrets of Wickford or be lost to its halls forever. --- Rankings: #1 in #Demonic
