"You're mine, Cassandra,"

"This is your problem. You keep telling me I'm yours," Her green eyes challenged me. "But I don't want to be yours."

I nearly growled at her for even trying to defy what was natural. She was mine. Fate had made it so, and whether or not she wanted to accept it was her damn problem. I wasn't about to let her slip away after waiting for twenty-six years.

When I didn't answer she continued, "You can't make me love you. Not after what you did."

I took a calm collected breath. Her words were pushing my limits of control; as an alpha I wasn't used to being blatantly disrespected.

"Casandra,"

"I will never love a monster. I don't care what Fate says,"

He was turning twenty-six and that was too old for a wolf to be mateless let alone an Alpha of the most powerful pack out there. With each passing year, he lost the hope and enthusiasm to find his mate. If she didn't want to be found by now, he probably just didn't have one.

Consumed by his own depression and madness, Raphael turned on his pack; the wolves that looked up to him for support. This Alpha turned just as relentless as the last. Not even the greatest can control themselves in a time of weakness.

Tempted by desire, he mingles with humans for a day and accidentally he stumbles upon a striking human woman that would end up meaning the world to him. He feels everything because of the wolf inside him, and he's determined to make her feel it too.
