Thomas is a 14 year old British boy at the height of WWI. When his brother goes off to fight at the River Somme, Thomas sneaks on a ship to join him. When Thomas arrives, he soon finds that war isn't as heroic as he thinks. (Not entirely historically accurate, I wrote this story a year and a half or so ago and didn't do much research)

A young love blooms, feeling lost in their own world together where it doesn't matter what's expected of her or what religion he is. But soon, they're both faced with the hard truth of the world they live in as they're faced with the wrath of Lucy's mother and the effects of WW1. It's stated in the story, but neither are underage. it's been 2 years since the battle of dunkirk. tommy is still traumatized by the terrors of being a soldier in that horrible time. he fears he will never get over the trauma he experienced. will somebody come along the way to dull his pain or will they leave him helpless? ~~~~ warning: this story may move a bit too fast for your liking, but i'm planning on making the story short, about 30 chapters. enjoy the book. i also wrote this book at 14, so i apologize in advance if anything in the book seems grammatically/logically incorrect. - got in #1 ranking for the fionnwhitehead tag.Concluida

A group of friends deal with life in the trenches along the Western front. Young German soldiers sent to fight a war they were told would be over by Christmas, soon realize that they aren't going anywhere. I did as best research as I could at the time, I'm sure it is not 100% accurate. This was written several months ago based on a story I wrote in middle school. I decided to I wanted to post this somewhere just in case someone else found it, maybe I can get some feedback.
