Kate's story starts out like many others, and she's seems to be your normal everyday teenager. Even though she puts up a tough exterior, she really just wants to fit in like every other high school kid. After being home schooled for six years, for reasons she doesn't understand, fitting in isn't the easiest task. She also has recurring nightmares and in an attempt to help, her mom send her to therapy every other week. Then one night she is left with many questions when the candle from her nightmares appears in her home. Things then begin to get complicated when Kate starts conjuring fire, but she has no idea how or why it happens. Follow Kate as she strives to find answers to all the questions that are piling into her life.

Her sister is supposed to slay anything mystical creature especially dragons but she doesn't know her secret or her best friend's. At least not yet or him hers and you know what's funny? Plus, he shivers in fear (literally) when he is within Sam's perimeters that makes him the best client in Sam's bullying business. However, not all things are what they always seem as Sam unravels something intriguing about Aaron and about himself. This book is a moving up requirement and as a part of our Production Thesis. I'm from the Arts department of a public junior high school in the Philippines and just publishing and launching this book brought me not only joy but also pride because this is my first ever novelette (or maybe novel considering it's length)!Complete
