Michael also known as "Wolf" (because of a patch he wears on his kit and helmet) is a member of what was the 75th Ranger Regiment. He finds himself a veteran of a war between humanity and anthros. While he doesn't exactly hate them he doesn't exactly trust them either despite their efforts to rebuild the relationship between species. Unfortunately a good chunk of humanity and anthro kind was wiped out due to the war. But due to the anthros ability to reproduce faster they were able to recover much faster leaving humanity at a loss. Michael finds himself alone and on the run from a one of the most dangerous anthro militaries (at least to humans), known as the Obsidian Front. They continue to hunt down and kill humans forces despite the end to the war, causing proxy wars and often large scale skirmishes between them and remaining human militias.

What happens when two heavily interconnected societies suddenly go to war out of nowhere? What happens when that war lasts for over 6 years? What happens when one side of the war is completely cut off from their home world? Kalimaria is a planet that was discovered a long time ago. Through ancient portal technology the planet was discovered by humans and earth. The inhabitants of this planet were a race of anthropomorphic alien creatures that resembled what most people in the modern age call "anthros" or "furries." Humanity, despite everything, managed to coexist and even integrate this highly intelligent alien species into our society and also help bolster the Kalimarian world's own technological advancements. For over 80 years the two species coexisted with only minor skirmishes between humans and Kalimarians occurring. That is until the war happened. A war that many question the true motives behind.
