My Mute Love

"What have you done?" She said darkly slowly walking towards him, eyes as black as night.
"I didn't do anything." He replied, obviously not liking her tone.
"You imbecile."
"Do not speak to me like that. I am-"
"I damn well know who you are. But the thing is I don't care when it comes to her." She spat venomously. "Leave. You have done enough damage for one day."

I brought my knees to my chest. Silent tears running down my face as I stared blankly at the wall.
I couldn't handle it. I couldn't handle him looking at me with pity in his eyes. I couldn't handle him asking me questions I may never be able to answer. I couldn't handle him looking at me like I was a broken toy that needed to be fixed.
I couldn't handle it because in reality I was like glass, smashed into a million pieces that were so small, it was a lost cause.
I am broken, and I can't be fixed.
