zach herron: an openly gay kid in highschool who doesn't have many friends. his friends consist of daniel seavey; the basketball team captain who's openly gay as well; corbyn besson; an openly bisexual geek who spends most of his time in the computer lab and science club room; and jonah marais; a closeted gay kid who spends most of his time trying to not let people know that he's gay.

jack avery: the new kid who is also closeted bisexual. he doesn't talk to much of anyone but that all changes when he meets zach herron and his friends.
