Though Zola can hardly speak English or understand what is happening to her, she builds relationships with her mother, whom she used to be denied of seeing. She gets closer to Clint, who she genuinely believed was her father. She didn't know any better. Thankfully, she was happy to lose the one relationship she never asked for. She'd longed for a father figure, but the relationships she had with everyone in the Red Room, especially the Winter soldier, were not that. As unfortunate as it was for Bucky, who wanted nothing more than to be a part of his daughter's life, he was forced to watch her grow up in someone else's care from a distance. They wiped him so often, he would hardly remember her, anyway. This story starts off during Avengers Age of Ultron and continues till the end of Civil War. Y/N Rogers is the daughter of Steve and Peggy. She was born in 1943 and kidnapped in 1953 by HYDRA. She was kept in a cryostasis chamber until 2006. HYDRA experimented on her when she turned 14 in 2010 and she ended up with powers including mental manipulation, telekinesis and invisibility. She managed to escape in 2012 to find that her dad was alive despite thinking he died in 1945. She found her dad with the Avengers and has been living in Avenger's tower with them ever since. For the purpose of the story, Pietro and Wanda are both still teenagers and I have slightly changed their backstories. I have also changed the timeline of the mind stone slightly but it won't effect the future of it. I don't own any of the Marvel characters or the storylines from the movies. I only own the character of the reader and any of the scenes I have made up.
