Daryl: I'm used to being alone. Or so I thought. I always had my brother or my dad around, even though they're not the best company or influence, they're my family, and my brother had a whole bunch of mates around who I always would hang around. I'm good on my own, I don't mind being alone one bit. But I never was truly lonely. Though I only find that out when I meet a guy who just moved into our town. Chase is the epitome of loneliness. I think there first was Chase and loneliness was named after him. He's lost in that self depriving, pathetic little world of his. His brain is set on the idea that everyone will eventually abandon him and his brain goes to extremes trying to cope with it. I don't know why, but something makes me want to prove him wrong.
Angel
Daryl Dixon is completely on his own. After the Saviors burn down Alexandria, he thinks that he is the only survivor. Living without the group that he has come to love, has left him as nothing more than a shell of the man he used to be. One day after a brutal fight, he stumbles upon a run-down shack in the woods. As he lay dying on the dirty floor, his life is saved by a complete stranger. These two loners find that living life together is so much better than doing it alone. I haven't written a story in the first person since Broken. It's not as easy as it sounds, but I enjoyed the challenge. This story has taken me months to write and I finished it just days after the Season 8 midseason finale. Any similarities to that episode are pure coincidence. I wrote the chapter (You'll know which one) months before Season8 even started. For anyone that is newly following me or reading my books, I write differently than most. You only start to get chapters once the entire story is written. And it finally is. I hope everyone enjoys Angel.Complete
