School for Sinners and Saints

61 parts Complete

Two high school students struggle with internal and physical challenges, while the gifted athletic son of a family friend adds temptations and obstacles to increase their pressure to become sinners rather than saints. California in the 70s is the setting for the hometowns and college destinations of the main characters. Liam Coffey is small for his age, with an unfulfilled passion for sports and inexplicable learning challenges. Jess Stein is brilliant, but a late bloomer with an acid tongue. Byron Wright, the town's star, has it all going for him: sports, sex, drugs, and money. His goals' challenge? Byron needs to convince Liam and Jess to cheat and lie on his behalf. The story unfolds over a seven-year period as all three face difficult choices on their own, with each other, their families, and friends..
