When Penelope Lane Myers befriends new-girl Jessica Winters, she think that she has the potential to become one of her soul sisters. They share the same interests, especially when it comes to theatre. Things are going great, until she realizes Jessie is not everything that she seems.

Things complicate when Penny finds herself caught in a love triangle. Her longtime crush and theatre star, Nick Dupont, finally seems to take notice of her just as Christian Burnstone, the older musician, seems to lay eyes on her as well. And when Jessie takes notice of this, her relationship with both, and her best friend, is jeopardized. 

Will everyone be able to see past the lies and deceit? Or will Penelope be in the audience watching Jessie steal the show?

As with every show, Act 1 is pretty predictable and tame. Theatre kids know that Act 2 is when all hell breaks loose...
