Aurora the Echidna - once a symbol of peace and hope - has risen to power in the Dragon Kingdom, bringing with her promises of a new world that have ended a centuries-long truce between the four warrior clans. Despite Kay's best efforts to reason with her on Espio's behalf, the civil war they were hoping to prevent has begun. The people are scattered, the prince is overwhelmed, and Kay finds herself facing a threat that not only encompasses a single world, but countless dimensions as well. It certainly doesn't help that Shadow keeps changing sides on a whim, as the mood suits him, and for opposing reasons. Without her Chaos power to help her Kay isn't sure how much assistance she can offer Espio and his army, but with Aurora constantly on her tail, chasing after power she no longer has, one thing becomes clear:
