The year is 1963. Indiana Jones has retired from Archaeology, taking on a full-time teaching job, as well as helping as assistant Dean, at Marshall College. Everyone expects his son, Mutt, to take his place in the field, but, surprisingly, he doesn't. Instead Mutt's twin sister, Celine 'Montana' Jones, takes Indiana's place in the Archaeological line of work. A chance to step out of the shadow of her father and brother. But her first mission isn't all it's cracked up to be. Racing against the Soviet Union, Montana and her friend, Tanner Brody, are tasked with finding the Lost Eagle of the Roman Empire, a weapon that can destroy enemy armies with a single bolt of lightning. "We do not follow maps to buried treasure, and 'X' never, ever marks the spot."
