J'essayais tant bien que mal de vivre comme n'importe quelle adolescente de mon âge, le plus souvent calme et discrète mais avec beaucoup de colère en moi, une colère omniprésente que je n'arrivais pas à m'expliquer.J'ai passé toute cette période, entre moments de dépression - où je passais des jours à pleurer - dormir ou aller chez la psychologue. Je ne leur adressais aucuns mots, ils étaient prêts à faire comme si rien n'était arrivé, je refusais cette amnésie, je ne voulais pas faire partie de cette mascarade, j'étais très indignée, très en colère et tellement dégoûtée. C'était très grave, ça n'était pas juste pour moi, et je n'avais pas le soutien que des parents se doivent d'apporter à leur enfant. J'étais si choquée de penser que je pouvais être au fond du gouffre et que personne ne puisse vraiment m'aider. Pas même ceux qui m'ont mise au monde. Il était évident qu'ils ne savaient pas comment « dealer » avec la chose, et ce particulièrement pour ma mère à qui mon père reprochait de ne pas m'avoir surveillée, qu'elle aurait dû le savoir. « Étant donné que c'est à la femme de s'occuper des enfants ». (Patriarcat ! quand tu nous tiens... !) Il tentait de la faire culpabiliser et ça marchait, alors que depuis le début je n'accusais personne, si ce n'est celui qui a abusé de moi
