A lot of Alphas have it hard when it comes to their mates. They are usually either very rebellious, intricately tied into an ancient family prophecy or are various kinds of cool hybrids with elemental powers. Aria was none of that.

She was just your average she-wolf behind bush #3, in every story featuring an Alpha finding their long-awaited mate. Keyword being WAS. Because it seemed the one time she decided to stand behind bush #4 instead, she turned out to be mates with Osiris. And you guessed it, he was an Alpha.

What challenges could possibly come from an Alpha and a normal she-wolf as his mate? Turns out, a lot. Sometimes, the biggest challenges in life is learning how to navigate the normal.

My Mother Runs With Wolves

51 parts Complete

A genetically unique but emotionally lost teenager must figure out who she is within her mixed-up, warring world of Shifters and Wolfstalkers. ***** It wasn't Maddie's choice to be born a half-breed, half Shifter, half Wolfstalker -- a hunter of Shifters -- and it wasn't her choice to keep her identity a secret. But after trying to attend high school like any normal sixteen-year-old, things quickly spiral south when her Stalker uncle finds out about her and catapults her out of anonymity and into the awareness--or possibly the crosshairs--of The Order of the Wolfstalker. Maddie must think fast and figure out a way to keep herself and her family safe, or risk losing everything. Including her life. [[word count: 70,000-80,000 words]]
