The Unawakened

Life wasn't fair. I learned this from an early age.

Love never worked out, friends turned into enemies, and most importantly: you could only depend on yourself. Of course, there are those rare occasions, where I would allow myself to get close to someone I believed was trustworthy, and each time I was let down. Dissapointed.

So why should I trust him? He's everything a girl like me should avoid.
Dark. Mysterious. Intimidating.
And he definitely has his secrets. Secrets about him, about the world, and for some reason, secrets about me.

So I try to avoid him, to stay away and keep my distance. But he takes two steps forward as I take one step back. He'll push my boundaries, cross the lines, and tests my limits. He's the most persistent person I've ever met.

And there's no where for me to run once he's got me in his trap.
