Calamity Ganon is defeated by Princess Zelda and Link, The Chosen Hero. Together, they work on restoring the ashes of the Hyrule they once knew into its former glory and possibly even beyond. During this period of time, they fall in love. Meanwhile the spirit of Mipha, The Zora Princess and Champion of Vah Ruta, watches the pair grow closer to each other and reflects on her feelings towards Link and by extension how she feels about the new couple.
(In this story, the champions' spirits stay behind to help rebuild the kingdom in whatever way they can)
This story takes place in Mipha's POV.

One Last Try
(Currently being remastered with extra dialogue/details + improved story structure.) Nearly a month's time has passed since Ganon's demise and life in Hyrule can now resume without any fear of invasion. Zelda is finally crowned as queen of the kingdom, giving Link the time and rest he desperately needs. With all this said, Link can't shake the fact that their victory came with a price that cost him his dearly beloved, Mipha. Unable to bear the burdened thoughts any longer, he seeks for a way to reunite with his lost love, even if for a moment. With the Kingdom being left so long without a monarch, will all of Hyrule unite under one banner once again? The Heroes' Rebirth - REVISITED | BOTW Sequel/Zelink (The Legend of Zelda)
~Having returned after two years, I decided to edit The Heroes' Rebirth. I changed (hopefully) all of the spelling errors, fixed the grammar and changed some of the sequences of events. Although the goddess had first planned to have the hero do his journey alone, she took sympathy for him and decided to create him a partner, one that would aid him during the dangerous travels to the Divine Beasts and finally, Calamity Ganon. That was your purpose. 100 years passed since the defeat of the Champions, although one remained. The one you were to help once he awoke from his slumber. The Kingdom of Hyrule had been preparing for Ganon's return since Zelda was only months old. But a now grown-up Zelda stood, well sat, collapsed on the ground of a Neculdian field with the man she loved bleeding out in her arms. There had never been a Zelda who'd failed, a Link who allowed darkness to reign, but Hyrule had fallen dead. The fight had been lost. At the scream of the scared sword, Zelda was alone. Scared, injured, pregnant... alone. But she was the final descendant of Hylia. She had to fight on, even if alone.
