Waking up from the coma Emma meets the Sheriff's Deputy Rick Grimes, which it wouldn't be a big deal if it weren't the apocalypse. Rick helps guide Emma back to a camp of people who unexpectedly become Emma's family. She meets her dad for the first time. She has no clue what happened to her mom. Maggie being from the South and you being from the North, your world views were vastly different; that's probably why you clicked so well. You both graduated in May, the world fell in August. You had no one, and so you drove as far and fast as you could, knowing if there was anyone you could turn to, it was Maggie. While on the Greene Family Farm, you meet ex-sheriffs deputy Rick Grimes, aiding in saving his son's life. He couldn't thank you enough.
