"Why was I disappointed whenever she moved her hand away from me, when I parted ways with her at the end of the day? Why were her sweater vests and split ends becoming less and less pitiful and more endearing? And why did I want to kiss her right then?" .⋅˚₊‧ 🜲 ‧₊˚ ⋅ Vivian Bennett used to be the Queen of Kindness on TikTok. She was adored by millions of fans who all appreciated her upbeat advice and picture-perfect life. Simultaneously, she was the Queen Bee of her high school. Then, in one day, her entire kingdom collapses when she finds that her private messages have been anonymously leaked online, showing the world that the "It Girl Who Cares" only cares about herself. Suddenly, her reputation is in ruins, her followers are gone, and her classmates despise her, leaving her at rock bottom. Alone. The only person willing to see past Vivian's mistakes is Casey Reed, a classmate who Vivian thought was utterly forgettable. Casey brings Vivian into her friend group, which consists of people who...aren't exactly like Vivian's old friends. As Casey helps Vivian learn to be less selfish, Vivian somehow finds herself falling for Casey despite her numerous dorky sweater vests. Will Vivian truly be able to change her mean girl ways? Or will she risk losing the one person who has shown her what real friendship (and love) looks like in exchange for fame?
