This the origin of the dark powers of rookie/Maya. She believes that she is human untill they kidnapped her to a mysterious island. Her mother told her that the beauty that they both share is a curse while the powers are a blessing. On the other hand, Dante went there to stop the king of the underworld, mundus. Together, they will overcome the odds and find out their destinies and soon they will be enemies with such curcumstances.
