♪ First Names are for Lovers ♪ Sherlock Holmes and John Watson, living in a dated, shared flat with bullet holes in the wall, a skull on the mantle, and an absolutely catastrophic kitchen. It wasn't hard to get along, usually. John could handle Sherlock's bluntness and absolute disregard - or lack of knowledge - for people's feelings or sentiment. And Sherlock could handle John's questions about everything he said. John Watson: An army doctor, stationed in Afghanistan, shot in the leg, put out of commission. Psychosomatic limp; magically gone when he went on a case with Sherlock. Sherlock Holmes: High-functioning sociopath, and the only Consulting Detective in the world. He could read people, he could see crimes in the crime-scene; he could win. ♫ ♫ ♫ Sherlock Holmes went off the rails. He did an experiment that got him hospitalized after John found him on the scene. Lines were crossed. Rules were made. For someone that has a college degree I would expect more from you. " John scoffed at the deep baritone voice insulting him. " For someone that has supposedly watched me my whole life, I would have assumed that you would have some type of sympathy for me. Besides, I've seen you before. You just choose to hide. " " I'm only like this because I know that you can handle it. You've dealt with me for this long and I'm hiding from you to save you. " He was right. John have dealt with him for a long time. But he was tired of not knowing who he truly was. The voice knew everything about John while John knew nothing about him. " Can you at least tell me your real name, S? " The nickname sent shivers down John's spine since he hadn't called the voice that in years. " Wow, you do remember. But the name is Sherlock Holmes. John's guardian angel sure was a charmer. Always knew how to get them. John could say this though. Sherlock Holmes was one angel that intrigued him in ways he didn't know were possible. But he liked it. - In which a guy named John has a guardian angel named Sherlock follow him around for practically his whole life who will help him reach his life goal that everyone needs to complete.
