Life. It seems to pass by so fast. It's like a video game where everyone is fighting the same bosses, but on different levels. War is just an arena. Another boss, or chapter in a story. My story. I'm fighting for too many things, and too many people.
Everything was taken away so easily. A puppet on a string, and the UNSC is pulling the strings. They tell you what to think, and eat, and do.
I learn how to survive. I survived the War boss, and I want to share how, so that others will understand. Bring spartan is no game. No victory. Not an achievement.
It's pain, emptyness, and death.
See in my story there are blanks spaces, or gaps in the paper. Places where ONI has hidden their lies from the public. I will tell you my story, but you must see Behind the Lines.

2560, a ring like structure has been found in uncharted space by a human exploration ship. Halo Battle Buddies 2: Homefront
Book 02/06 (Current Version: Prototype - Version 1.0) This story/fanfiction is a 'what if scenario' within the Sci-Fi videogame series known as Halo and is based on an original character named 'Lieutenant Serenity McKnight' that partners with the legendary Master Chief himself, after the UNSC Pillar of Autumn had escaped a Halo Ring known as Installation 04 by the help of a mysterious alien of myth and legend called a Forerunner. From this Forerunner, it pledged itself and its forces of unknown magnitude to fight the genocidal war against the Covenant, to protect humanity. The UNSC Pillar of Autumn heads course back home, to the Solar System, Earth. A big mystery slowly unveils on humanities newest ally. Will our heroes within the UNSC turn the tides of the conflict in the fates of their species? What will this alliance with the Forerunner entail to go on the offensive? All will be revealed in due time. The story is a 'reimagining' of Halo and is non-canon and is to be not taken seriously as this was an idea created back when I first played the games. Combat Evolved is the first book of my main series known as 'Halo Battle Buddies' and will lead up to the first game and beyond. DISCLAIMOR: I do not own Halo and the intellectual property belongs to Bungie, Microsoft and 343 Industries. This is for fun, and not making any form of profit of this story. IMPORTANT: This is currently a prototype and everything in this story is subject to change as time progresses and not the official release. Book Series Order: (IN PROGRESS) 1) Halo Battle Buddies: A Pilot's Journey (Halo Reach) 2) Halo Battle Buddies: The Ghosts of War (Halo Reach) 3) Halo Battle Buddies 1: Combat Evolved (Halo Combat Evolved) - 4) Halo Battle Buddies 2: Homefront (Halo 2) 5) Halo Battle Buddies 3: War's End (Halo 3) 6) Halo Battle Buddies 4: Reclamation (Halo 4) 6) Halo Battle Buddies 5: Guardian Angels (Halo 4/Halo Infinite) 7) Halo Battle Buddies 6: Spirits of Fire (Halo Infinite)

The Wilted Planet
Every war has two different sides. Two different points of view. The perspective isn't everything. But it certainly is something. Something that certainly needs to be understood. Especially if anyone is going to make a difference in the universe. Caleb Jones is a young marine, nearly turned Spartan. He finds himself locked in a fight he never was expecting to be in. Fighting forces he had underestimated since day one. Pressure builds on the young man, as leadership over his group is placed on his shoulders. Can he and his companions succeed in beating the Covenant threat that has appeared in Sansar? Can Caleb save everyone he calls family? Or was their chances of survival against such power nonexistent? Freshly trained Sangheili, Kipa Votamee has never seen real combat. He has never even seen the face of his enemy. After being granted permission to join his brother's mission in the assault of the human controlled planet Sansar. Kipa is eager to prove himself to his older brother in any way possible and through him, the Prophets themselves, but a question soon arises in his mind once the combat begins. Surely the race his people have been fighting for generations, the creatures that the Prophets themselves had deemed their true enemy...is in fact his enemy?Complete

Scars Of 2039
It's the year 2060. The last world war was fought not with soldiers, but with code, machines, and stolen time. Democracy is dead. Earth is dying. And those who survived rule with knowledge they should've destroyed. Now, survival depends on power-and power depends on what you find first. This is a story of war beyond borders. War beyond time. War beyond galaxies. We used to fear nuclear bombs. Now we fear the collapse of space itself. We thought we were building the future. We didn't realise we were rewriting it. This isn't just a story. This is our future.Complete

The Corvus Protocol
For Spartans Jax-007, Ria-031, Kai-119, and Vance-142, the war was simple calculus: duty, data, and defense. But during a quiet decompression period back on Reach, their sterile world is invaded by the messy reality of the civilians they protect. The simple sights-a father's love, a child's laughter, the raw fear in a crowd-begin to crack the Mjolnir-forged logic of their training. They feel a rising, conflicted emotion: empathy. When the Covenant fleet finally appears in the sky, these four Spartans must face a terrifying new challenge: Can they still be the UNSC's perfect, emotionless weapons when they finally understand what, and who, they are truly fighting for? (Disclosure: This is a complete work of fan-fiction from the game franchise "Halo". None of the references, worlds, people, etc. are not of my own creation, but are used liberally uncanonically.)

*proceed with caution. It has a high rank and lots of reads but is not my best book. Please don't judge my writing skills based upon this book. While you're here, however, check out my other book Don't Blink?* Our planet was taken right from under our feet. At least, that's what we were told. We had no choice but to believe the Commanders, after all, they run the Ship. They wiped our memories. They have control over us. Earth was taken from us, and the Commanders intend to get it back. But the thing is, I remember. _________________ Under editing Cover by @RajanGaggiArora Book 2: Fight For Life now published! Halo: Front Lines [BOOK ONE]
[COMPLETED] War. Sacrifice. Two inevitabilities of human nature come together once more as the human race encounters its latest Great Filter. The Covenant. A genocidal alien alliance hell-bent on the utter destruction of man-kind. A theocratic society convinced that humanity is the only thing standing in its way between eternal damnation, and ascension to godliness. As humanity quickly realizes they're outmanned, outmatched, and outgunned they call on the young and vibrant to defend their way of life. Joseph Gray. An ordinary young man living an ordinary life finds his society crumbling apart at the seams due to an ever-intensifying plague of insurrection that seems to spread faster than it can be quelled. After joining the Marines to make a difference, to bring stability to his society, he soon realizes that he's no more than a minuscule cog in a very large machine. Harvest. A major farming colony at the edge of UNSC-controlled space goes offline. Just as Gray thinks he'll coast out his short-term service in the Corps, tragedy strikes, and a new player enters the field. Now Gray must desperately juggle the responsibilities of maintaining his relationship with the girl of his dreams, raising a future family, surviving the Covenant onslaught, and most of all: Keeping his humanity. The Covenant doesn't play by the rules in their quest to exterminate humanity, and as the UNSC grows desperate, Gray's world will be rocked time and time again. ***Warning: Mature Content*** Disclaimer: I do not own the rights to Halo.
