Elizabeth was adopted by the Daae family when she was just 4 years old. After the death of Gustave Daae when Elizabeth and Christine were 10, his trustworthy friend, Madame Giry, takes both Elizabeth and Christine to the opera house, where she lives.
The story starts the day of the performance of "Hannibal" and through a winding sequences of events, Elizabeth finds herself down in the catacombs. And soon, comes face to face with Him.
Christine couldn't see past His deformed features, but Elizabeth could. She learned to see the man behind the mask. She saw that he was no monster. He was simply a broken soul, who was looking for any ounce of affection.
Christine couldn't understand why Elizabeth cared for him so much. Things escalated quite quickly when Raphael, Raoul's younger brother, comes to the Masquerade Ball. The brothers seemed to always intervene when they are not needed.
But, what happened after that dreadful night after Don Juan?
Well, I guess you will just have to read and see.

(I obviously don't own the rights to all of the Phantom characters. The only character that are mine own are Elizabeth, Raphael, and the kids. This is my first time writing, so please, bear with me. I've also made some changes to the story line, to fit in with the Elizabeth character.
“Why doesn’t she just love me back? I’ve given her everything!” Erik was almost in tears in front of me. I bent down next to him and wiped away a stray tear. He looked up into my eyes. “Nobody can choose who they love. Love is a gift, but it is also a curse. It either makes you, or breaks you.” He then brushed back a piece of my hair from my face and gave me a confused look. “How do you know this, Alice?” I looked down and took a breath. “Because it broke me.” Alice has been in love with the Phantom of the Opera since she read the book in her freshman year of high school. When her graduating class of high school goes to Paris, she can’t help but go along. One night, she sneaks out to find the man she loves she realizes she needs to go back in time to find him. When she arrives, she sees that the only way to win over his heart, is to make him fall for her, instead of Christine. So, with her trusty copy of the Phantom of the Opera, will she be able to make him love her too? I do not own the Phantom or any other character from the Phantom of the Opera. I only own Alice and her new adventures.
