Maya and Kris are two sisters who live with their sickly grandfather and no one else. The girls' mum died in child birth and their father left them with their grand dad the first chance he got.
Years later when Kris is 14 and Maya is 21 they get a chance to go on a journey of a lifetime with crazed man who calls himself The Doctor.
Set around season 4 before Donna, after Martha.
