This quiet and almost-non-existent town in the "middle of nowhere" rural Western Australia has been receiving a number of strange and paranormal events, from tall, disfiguring shadows seen from the outskirts of town to the disembodied whispers being heard from the woods.

Hendrix Miamota and Evin De Wolfe, the inseparable duo, are used to these occurrences just like the other residents. When the two boys find a boy with a rather monstrous appears in town randomly alone, bruised and injured, they soon realize they have fallen into deeper and more dangerous hands than they thought.

As everyone in Shadowbridge Creek says "This small town is more than you think it is".
