Keith had never been the best at making and keeping friends. It is something he's very aware of, and with one of Lance's friends joining the group for a weekend trip to the ocean, Keith can't help but give a new friendship his best shot.
Unfortunately for Keith, this so called friendship he's pursuing ends up being so much more. Unexpectedly and unintentionally, he finds himself falling for a girl he's known for no more than three days all because of one song which played on the radio.

"Okay," Lance murmured, shifting to get more comfortable against Keith. Lance stared out at the horizon. "Everything's so beautiful out here." "It is," Keith agreed, his voice quieter now. (What if Lance had frozen and couldn't ask Allura out on a date in Season 8, Episode 1? Instead, Lance realizes his feelings for Keith and asks him out on a date. Lance is a popular football player. Practically the schools golden boy. His friends Hunk and Pidge add to it. They all get A's. Hunk is sweet and everybody loves him. He's not afraid to talk back to teachers and he has punched one of them. He repeatedly says it wasn't an accident but Shiro tells everyone it was. Shiro is repeatedly saving Keith from being kicked out of school and Allura usually has to help Keith with his wounds from fights inside and outside of school. People are usually scared of him and decide not to mess with him. That is until one stupidly handsome and annoyingly perfect golden boy comes into play.Complete
