Billie McNamara had become very surprised when she became friends with a man she tried and unsuccessfully failed to steal from. Cade Yeager, a fugitive who is wanted for being on the side of the Transformers. Who isn't what the government described him to be like, he was trying to protect the innocent who just wanted a home. After staying with the man for a year, she'd learned not to be so surprised at what happened anymore. But, everything starts going downhill, when a strange object falls into Cade's hands.
Billie is forced to rethink her lineage which goes farther back then she expected.
To make things worse, they both have the life of the whole planet in their hands.
