Down the Endless Road

14 year old Nolan has been pushed to the brink and is ready to run, to run out of his grandmother's house and into the forests of his backyard to escape the devils of life only to find out that living in the wild is not as easy as he thought. He will need the skills of the wolf raised Amber, the joker of the Court; Hunter, and the inner mythical animal of Calli.
These four unlikely, unruly, and out of their mind friends will need the skills they learn from each other to withstand the unknowing of the wild.

'Moaning, Nolan turned over only to face a interesting looking girl. She had golden blonde hair, soft green eyes, and hands as gentle as lambs ear but as tough as leather. In other words she was beautiful! She looked perfectly fine also, not a scratch on her. So she hadn't followed him from his escape. But the thought of such a pretty girl living in a forest was just too unreal. The strange girl crouched down to head level with him and used her index finger and thumb to lift up his face. She tilted it side to side, gave a half smile and a brief nod, turned then disappeared without a word.'
