Hunith never meant to favor her son over her daughter, and her daughter knew this, she understood sometimes she wished she had never been born. Not that she had ever voiced her thoughts to her mother or brother. She usually kept to herself, away from everyone, Merlin felt they were close and she was fine with that. 

When she is sent to Camelot at sixteen, two years later Merlin arrives and seems to have a knack for getting her and himself into trouble.
