There is a tunnel running deep through Maura's town. It is so deep sunlight doesn't dare to shine through it. All the childeren were warned to stay away from it, not only because no one has ever lived to see the end but also because of the odd occurances that happen near the tunnel; birds drop dead, cars crash near the tunnel, large animals found mauled. Still, something draws Maura to the tunnel. When she was young she speculated about its inhabitance and once even dared to step in. What she saw in there she never told, she vowed never to go in again but still seemed drawn to it. What happens, now that she's a teen when a simple dare goes horribly wrong.All Rights Reserved
