Zoe McGowan has been waiting her entire life to turn twelve, so she can finally be eligible to apply to and attend the Ravenbloom School of Magic. However, when she's finally old enough, the money she's been saving for tuition is stolen. Zoe is distraught, but not for long.
Soon after the money is stolen, she meets Minotaur, a young, brilliant dragon who just so happens to be a magic expert. Together, Zoe and Minotaur study the magical arts. After a trip to the the White Mountains, where Ravenbloom is located, Zoe and Minotaur discover that the academy is much darker than it first appears...

FYI I wrote this when I was 11 so please do not judge it too much I know that it's bad ;) Brooklyn is a 16-year-old girl that just found out about her family's secret, they have magic powers. Brooklyn is enrolled at 'Miss Magic's School for the Gifted', but will she like it there? Will she make friends? Will anyone survive?
