Tyler, age 6: Tyler, native to the planet Ixilia, is not like everyone else, no matter how hard be tries to be. He is a hybrid. Half human, half Ixilian. His father doesn't approve of this, and soon tells his mother that they MUST get rid of Tyler, no matter what. Tyler over hears this conversation, and must find a safe way out.
Tyler, age 16: Finally, he gets to Earth, and gets settled in. He starts high school, tries to lead a normal human life, and then.. He meets Katelyn. She's young, beautiful, smart, slightly shy, and to him, the most amazing person he's ever met.
Katelyn: Just a normal, human girl, trying to fit it at her new school, along with her best friend, Brooke. She dyes her hair very dark fire truck red every four months, and loves to wear dark clothes. She immediately falls for Tyler the second she sees him.. But, he scares her. Something about him worries her, but she can't get past her feelings for him.
But what will she do, when she starts to question everything that's happening around her? What will happen when she realizes that there have been strange things happening ever since Tyler came to her school? What will she do when she finds out where he's really from?
