Coaley has always been a bit troubled. Having moved around a lot, the young, loving boy has never really managed to keep a friendship, let alone a relationship. On his 14th birthday, his mother, Kathryn Quist, announces that they will move once again. This time, they move into a bigger town.
Upon settling down, the boy meets a particularly interesting (not to mention handsome) male, he finds himself in a dangerous world. His world.
