His eyes were beautiful. A rich, deep brown. And his hair? His hair made me curious. Very few people wore two braids like that. Very few guys anyway. There was something about him...His arm slid around my waist and he gently sat me up.
“Are you alright?” I tried to stand up. I leaned on my arm and it felt like a thousand knives coming through my wrist at once. I cried out softly in pain. His arm was around me before I could fall back. I coughed into the bend of my elbow and held my wrist to my chest. I felt his breath on my neck. I looked at him, his face literally inches from mine. I didn't even care for the world at this moment. It was me and him. He had saved me. He put my arm around his neck and carefully picked me up bridal style. He carried me to a wooden, large Victorian style house.. that some how still gave off a modern, contemporary feeling. I was completely scared for my life but in some way.. It was alright, being with him.
