The imperfect perfect man
Lilith Blackwood survived nearly being killed by her abusive husband Christian. She woke up 3 days later in a hospital and found out she lost her unborn child. Trying to take back her life with the help of some people along the way she found her way into New York City and to a job at Kane Enterprise.
Alexander Kane is the typical rich playboy with daddy issues but a shark in the business world. He uses women for sex. His employees fear him, and other businessmen strive to be him. He swore to his father he would never be like him. Alexander never wanted to get married or have kids because of his fear of being just as abusive as his father, but his father's last act of cruelty towards Alex before he died was to set a clause in Alexander's contract, to marry and have a child before he turned 35 or lose everything.
The two of them find their way to each other needing something. Alexander needs a wife and child before his 35th birthday and Lilith wanted a family more than anything in this world and to finally be free of her abusive husband Christian. When Alexander found out about Lilith's miscarriage and stillbirth at the hands of her husband, he propositioned her to marry him and give him a child and in return Alexander would help her regain her life back from Christian.
Sometimes life doesn't always follow the path we chose, and tragedy strikes when they least expect it that would change one of their lives forever.
