"We can always work this out. Just please .. "
"No. That's not how this thing works, Lukas. Once is enough. I don't want to be the same girl four years ago." I say to him as tears made their way down my cheeks. I was a fool. I let him hurt me this time.
"You can't do this. You can't leave me. Just please, let me explain." He took a step towards me which I mirrored, only taking one step back and not towards him.
"I already am. Have a great night, Lukas."
I told him as silent tears ran down. For the second time, I walked out of his office, hopefully this time, there's no turning back.
