Living in a world full of magical powers such as controlling water and literally glaring laser beams, her common supersensitive hearing is plain boring. She has no dreams, no expectations, and is in for one hell of a boring life.  Until she hears something about a brother, that is.  Suddenly she is thrown into a world of war, hope, and maybe even love.  If she can survive that long, of course.
