The war between the angels and the demons has been going on for as long as either could remember. A peace treaty is finally signed between the two. The angels get peace out of the treaty; something they always wish for. But peace itself isn't enough for the devil.
"Instead of fighting all the time, why don't we sign a peace treaty?"
A piece of paper appears in front of the devil. He looked at it wearily before turning his gaze to the angel facing him.
"And what would I get out of it?" He asks with a raised eyebrow.
"A mate."
And thus how Shalom was born.
