Imagination can make anything possible. Can make you cross the obstacles and take you where you would only dream to go. Where time can be limitless and with no meaning. It can feel true and mingle with reality,  that is what happened to Dolores. 

 I am an amateur writer,  the short story might have a few grammer mistakes so please ignore those. I love surreal paintings and this story is based on it so its a little different than any other story you would read. Comment please, if you like it :)
This story at the moment is complete but I might get back to it if a plot come  to my mind!

Legend has it that human survivors still exist and are living in the depths of a forest, right on the doorstep of the capital monster kingdom, Zyire. Protected and concealed by a magical border that burns monsters if they attempt to enter, the humans wait patiently for the right opportunity to strike and take back what once was theirs. 18 year-old human survivor Dawn lives within the borders of the forest, or as the humans call it, the Base. In the Base, the humans are separated into three groups; the Service, the Watchers and the Venturers. It is the Service's job to cook, what little food they have, and to heal the injured and sick. It is the Watcher's job to hide in the trees and scan the clearing, that lies before the forest's border, for monsters on the Venture days. It is the Venturers job to leave the forest borders on Venture days, and run into desolate cities to steal food, bedding and supplies that they need to survive. There is only one rule; never get caught. Venturer Dawn finds herself in a dangerous situation when she breaks the one rule. Dawn is caught by a monster, and not just any monster, but a monster who works as a Protector for their kind. 'Sometimes, it seemed as if another person lived inside my head. And that person genuinely hated me.' When Charlotte boards the plane and starts her eleven-hour journey, she doesn't know that it will turn out to be more spiritual than physical. A feelgood short story about love, forgiveness, change and finding yourself. Full of hidden symbols and open for interpretation. It shows the hardship of breaking up and mending a broken heart. I can promise it won't make you cry at the end, but I can bet it will make you feel good. I hope you will enjoy reading my first novella. If you need something to cheer you up, then click READ!
