What I Once Called Love: The Drafts
This is my story, or rather a compilation of stories that spans more than a decade. Each piece is written from a place of truth with the exception of the names mentioned. The book itself will broken into sections, with each representing a different moment of my life that was instrumental in helping me define what love is and what it is not. This is a handful of chapters available for preview. Keep in mind, these pieces are drafts so they are in no way perfect so please be patient with me. "Dear Crush, I exist... and trust me or not, but no one else in this whole world can love you the way I do..." He fell in love for the first time in his life. Even after being the most popular guy at school, he was afraid to talk to her, not because she was more popular than him, but because she was different, very different from other girls out there. She was in love with him, since elementary school. Just a single glimpse of him was enough to make her day. But she was afraid to tell him, obviously, he was way too popular and better for a girl like her. But, even though he was popular, he was... different. His politeness was the thing that attracted her... the most. Then one day, their love was sealed by a kiss! Will they ever be able to tell each other and realize, that... The Honest Liar
He just stood there. Looking at me. The way I had reacted had put him in a state of shock. "I... I um," Every word I had learned from pre-school to now had just flew out of my mind and left me speechless. "I should go." I could tell he could barely hear the hurtful words I had just chocked out of my mouth, but I didn't care. Not anymore. I walked away. Fighting back tears. I drove all the way to my house and when I got there I fell against the cold wall. What had just happened? All I knew is that I wasn't able to think straight. My mind was clouded with memories of him. I shook my head trying to forget everything that was involved with him. But I wasn't able to forget. These thoughts were a part of me now.
