Maria didn't expect her Junior year to end up like this. She thought this year would be filled with having fun with friends and practicing riding her precious mountain bike up and down the neighboring mountains. She never would have expected that she would end up colliding with one of the new students, Rafael Dubois in a crash and end up working at his car repair shop to pay for damages. A job, 2 AP classes, her best friend seeing a guy who isn't right for her and somehow striking up an eccentric friendship and walking into the dark shadows of a fantasy world she never knew existed weren't on her list.
