It's incredibly hard to speak out against sexual abuse, especially if it's at the hands of someone you love and trust. Sometimes it might even feel like it's just in your head when it actually isn't. Even though marital rape is still not taken as seriously as other forms of sexual abuse, it is still prevalent.
