In the 900s, the Vikings ruled all of Iceland and Scandinavia. The Viking clans of Scandinavia were spread widely, but the Sólinemarung clan was the closest to the Norwegian coastline. Jorundr, a Berserker, drags his friend Skúli, the Shaman, into the wilderness to reveal what he thought to be two Celtic men scouting the clan's village. In this confusion, Jorundr kills both without knowing that one was part of his own clan. This sends the Jarl chasing the pair with a war party, desperately trying to hunt them down. Now, they must escape their own clansmen and fight to stay alive in the unforgiving Norwegian wilderness, complete with a fair share of wolves, bears, elk, and much, much worse.
