"It is several hundred years in the future. The continents have shifted back into one large land mass called Pangora. The world’s population separated itself into 5 sections: The North, South, East, West, and in the middle is the Wilds. But the population is no longer dominated by human beings. Vampires have evolved into society and are on a rampage to wipe out human beings. Dawn and Ethan Tyker live in the North, where it is almost always winter. When their city is taken over by vampires and their parents turned, they flee to the Wilds and discover that there are rumors of a cure for Vampirism in the South. They form a group with others who fled from vampires to the Wilds called the Mudskippers. Together they battle the dangers of Pangora in search of the cure."
