Long ago in the 1800s, werewolves terrorized a calm civil village. They were stealing and reducing the food stock of the people. When locals tried to stop them, the monsters brutally killed and brought some within inches of their deaths. When there seemed to be no hope for their survival, 5 civilians who called themselves "The Shadow Hunters" united to stop them. They ostensibly succeeded, thought to have killed all the werewolves that were terrorizing the community. In the end, they were regarded as heroes.

Now,150 years later, after a century and half of the peace, signs point to these creatures reappearing in the shadows. In a state of perturbation, a descendant of a Shadow Hunter reaches out to every available hunter, in an attempt to stop the werewolves before history starts repeating itself.

Unbeknownst to her, the man she turns out to hire is a descendant of the same group of werewolves that threaten the lives of the villagers all those years ago. This woman also hired a female hunter, who she assigned to be the man's partner. She knows she was a descendant of a highly distinguished Shadow Hunter, but little does anyone realize, she is hiding a potentially treacherous secret.

Ash Kyle Rexton and Alisha Veronica Bane may become one of the deadliest werewolf hunter and huntress pair to ever be known in the history of mankind.
