Audrina was never one to jump by herself; she's just never had the courage to. That's why she's with Matt, the dull, flat character that is her partner. He's always provided her with every adventure she ever needed. And even though there's nothing but a dull, gray longing between them, Audrina could never find it in her to leave. Then comes Norwaiye. The defender, the charmer, and the unruly. He's troublesome, but provides all the dimension and adventures Audrina could ever desire. And so he pulls a turtle out of its shell, getting Audrina into trouble, adventures, and heights that Audrina could never do alone. But there's always a tragedy in this seemingly cliché plot. Norwaiye's desire to be free always comes with a cost. And you can put off a bill, but it'll come back and make you pay. This is simply a story of a girl who was playing it safe all the way up until she met a boy who wanted to die just as much as she wanted to live. Cover: Made by Me SEQUEL:THE STARS NEVER RISE.

I didn't come here to make friends. But still- it hit harder than I thought when he said it. "We're not friends." Just like that. Like I was the problem for thinking the silence between us meant anything more than... silence. He barely looked at me when he said it. Didn't flinch. Didn't soften. And I wish I could say I didn't care. I wish I could say I rolled my eyes and walked away. But the truth is- his words stayed. ::: She never asked for a new beginning. He made sure it wouldn't feel like one. After losing everything that once felt like home, Lyrah is forced to move into a house that doesn't belong to her-shared with strangers, full of boxes that carry more silence than belongings. New town. New walls. New rules. What she didn't expect was Jonah McGregor. Detached. Sharp. Unbothered. The kind of guy who makes it clear from day one: "We're not friends." He doesn't want to talk. He doesn't want to listen. He just wants to be left alone. But sometimes the people who keep you furthest away are the ones who see you the clearest. And sometimes the most unexpected person becomes the only one who truly gets it. (Wednesday is new chapter day on 6 pm)
