Young Alexandra Hoff struggles with her curiosity about her sexuality and the fact that's she is pregnant, all while hiding a crucial secret from her also pregnant older sister about her husband.

Alex is a seventeen year old junior who has not quite figured out who she is. She has a older sister, Elise Milton, who is twenty six, and has been married for three years to the man, Trey Milton, who everyone believes is her soul mate. She also has an older brother, Jared Hoff, who is the middle child. He is twenty, and is engaged to the devil's wife herself, Delilah Huggins.

Alex has been with her boyfriend, Kevin Langston, since late freshman year. He has supported her through all the struggles and decisions she has made. He's a senior in high school, and his nickname is Goober.

Sarah Hoff is her mother. She's forty-five, and has been married to her husband since she was sixteen. Bobby Hoff is her father. He is fifty. He's in and out the house. His job makes it that way, but there is also another side the that story.

Lexus Lavinghouse is Alex's bestfriend. They have been friends ever since kindergarten. Lexus (Lex) moved out of state with her mother over the summer. She is eighteen. She is also homosexual.
