The year 2015.

3 years after "The Incident" or also known as the Battle of New York.

Emmett Mellan Pfeiffer lost his home in the aftermath of the battle and was forced to move out of Midtown, Manhattan to rundown Hunts Point, Bronx.

Emmett still continues his life as who he was before. An artist fighting to stay in the business during the day, and kicking ass during the night. Until one day he comes upon secrets about his family which leads him to come in contact with Earth's Mightiest Heros, The Avengers.

This leaves him torn from his old life to this new one.

Unsure if he should back out now, or continue his life as the alter ego, Zaptric.

Civilians are running in every direction trying to get away from the fight. Some are getting caught in the middle so Loki tries his best to get them away. But the Avengers thinking he's trying to hold a hostage makes the situation even worse. Now Loki needs to get the civilian out of the way and defend himself. He cast a shield around himself and the people. Teleporting the people away he drops the shield . "Listen to me!" Loki groaned as the Avengers ignored his pleas. "What did you do?!" There was so much going on he didn't even see who asked the question. He just answered without thinking."Nothing! You people are the ones that attacked first. As I was helping someone! What if they had gotten hurt?!" The Avengers faltered for just a second before straightening their resolve. As the fight went on Loki was getting tired of their incompetence. "Stop!" Loki yelled heavily out of breath. All the Avengers were frozen by Loki's magic. Even the almighty Thor. "You so-called avengers just attacked me unprovoked, risked multiple lives, and won't even listen to what I have to say." He turned to Thor. "But this must seem normal to you my "dear brother" seeing how this is just like the old days." There was a few minutes of silence before anything happened. People started to flood the streets again. Trying to get a glimpse at the action. "Now since I don't want any trouble, I'll come with you without a fight. Like I would have done before had you not shot at my ass! Now I'm going to drop the spell. But don't you dare fire at me!"
