Due to this decision, the whole world shifts its focus away from the realm of men's figure skating, and towards the realm of women's figure skating. With her theme of "Recovery", Sarah takes her programs around the world, trying to win to be qualified for the Grand Prix Final, which isvstaged in Vancouver, Canada, as well as trying to convey a message that anyone and everyone is able to understand: No matter how hard life may seem, there is always a way to make things better.

The younger Nikiforov followed her sibling to Japan. However, there's something about Anastasia Nikiforov, alongside with the fact who she is, which only a few people know about. She is in wheelchair. During their time together, both Nikiforovs have to face the old-time demons to move on from a family tragedy. The only question is whether they will be able to heal after unripping the painful scars of the past.
